The Wine
Domaine Régis Fèvre is a small estate in Fyé, the village where Bernard Dampt first started his family estate. When it came up for sale in 2017, brothers Emannuel and Eric Dampt jumped at the chance of expanding their domaine with some exceptionally fine vineyards from their neighbour. The Blanchot Grand Cru is like treasure for Chablis purists, as its best wines – like this laser-fresh 2021 – have such purity, yet power and richness too. The vineyard is over 50 years old and southeast facing, ideal for catching the sun’s rays. This magnificent Grand Cru from a true classic vintage shows a racy style, yet has depth, richness and poise thanks to a full malolactic fermentation and 11 months ageing on lees. Pair with your finest seafood.
