Its takes several weeks of work by the monks at the distillery to achieve the complex herbal flavours – from grinding ingredients, steeping them, distilling the liquid and long ageing in barrel before bottling. Its unique character is ideal in cocktails, for sipping over ice or even adding a drop to the cooking, as it has been in centuries past.
