Very much of the modern school, their fine Riojas typically combine an elegant, claret like structure with thrilling intensity of fruit. Headed by Carlos Martínez Bujanda, Finca Valpiedra is a single estate with perfectly situated vineyards and a superb, modern winery to match the one at the family’s main headquarters. Top winemaker Lauren Rosillo made this red from Tempranillo, patiently maturing it in optimum conditions in his temperature and humidity controlled barrel cellar.
