Wonderfully lemony crisp, Campanula is terrifically refreshing and top value, too. No wonder it’s remained one of our bestsellers for 15 years. Quintessential Pinot Grigio from a modern cellar and talented Hungarian winemaker, Zoltan Kukola.

The Wine
This Pinot Grigio comes from an award-winning cellar in the village of Etyek, 50km from Budapest, and shows just what fantastic quality and value Hungary offers. The winemaker today is Zoltan Kukola, who continues the great work of Gabór before him with wines that are truly crowd pleasing. Hungary is, of course, famous for its regal sweet wine, Tokaji, but has many strings to its bow, thanks in part to a 600-year history of growing Italian grape varieties. Zoltan proves himself an expert, crafting a range of thrilling wines under the Campanula label, named after a local flower. This crisp, minerally Pinot Grigio has classic ripe pear and green apple character. Enjoy as a well-chilled glass solo or with lighter dishes like fish or risotto.
