Averys Fine Tawny Port is crafted exclusively for us by Taylor's, one of the most respected port houses. Averys and Taylor’s have worked together for many years and it’s only thanks to this long standing friendship that we can bring you this exclusive 10 year old Tawny. Aged in oak casks rather than in bottle, this exceptionally fine blend has developed some seriously nutty, woody notes to complement its rich and mellow fruit. Perfect as a blue cheese accompaniment or as an excellent chilled dessert wine with almond torte. This smooth, cask-aged port boasts wonderfully complex flavours: luscious, ripe fruit, Christmas cake richness and spice, all balanced by a moreish savouriness.
