Domaine Jean Monnier et Fils Clos de Citeaux Pommard 1er Cru 2019
Parker writes this "an estate whose wines I recommend with much enthusiasm." Particularly in the brilliant 2019 vintage, variously described as 'superb', 'charming' and 'hedonistic'. This is Monnier's fine Pommard 1er Cru - superb to drink or cellar.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.

But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

It's so good, in fact, there's talk of raising it to Grand Cru status. This would be a first for Pommard which, despite the quality of its wines, has none. Yet! Jean-Claude Monnier and his son Nicolas are the winemakers, meticulously crafting a range of wines. Delve into the rich power of this red. Let it breathe before serving with duck or wild mushroom croustade. Alternatively cellar.
