A step-up cuvée from this superb domaine. Each year our buyer tastes the vats that make up their excellent rosé. She sampled this one and immediately insisted it was bottled solo. Totally delicious Provençal fruit with extra mineral intensity.

The Wine
Domaine du Mas Ensoleillé is a classic Provence pink that has been delighting customers for years. It comes from a cellar just outside Aix-en-Provence, former home of neoclassical painter François-Marius Granet. It’s a small winery, run by winemaker Mathieu Lacroix and viticulturalist Jean-Didier Dedominici. Each vintage, Mathieu takes our buyer through the different cuvées that make their wine. Last visit, he showed her a new vat, with all grapes from Jean Didier’s new vineyard. It lies high next door to the renowned Mont Sainte Victoire subregion. Wow! She was so impressed, she requested it was bottled solo. So here we have the Sélection Parcellaire – exuberant berry and citrus fruit, with white pepper hints and mineral nuances.
