Sancerre is a renowned region of the Loire's Central Vineyards, famous for some of the world's finest Sauvignon Blanc. The Naudet family have been grape growers there for five generations and have slowly built up 16 hectares of vineyards. These are all tiny plots, divided over seven different subregions. Each site has a unique soil and aspect to the sun, which results in a different character in a wine. Their Terre Blanche uses grapes solely from a plot of flint-rich soil that lends an intense minerality to the wine, along with a hint of blossom and light tropical fruit. From the sunny 2022 vintage, Buissonnes Terre Blanche brims with bright lemon, grassy-fresh notes with vibrant acidity. An ideal white with fish or goat's cheese.
