Aroma
Intense plum, fig jam, oaky notes of burnt toffee and toasted bread
Founded in 1724, Remy Martin is among the biggest Cognac houses in France. Their 1738 Accord Royal commemorates the reward of excellence bestowed on Remy Martin by King Louis XV of France in 1738. It’s a distinctive Cognac, particularly smooth with a blend of uniquely oaky eaux de vie (fruit brandy). The barrels used to patiently age the spirit have been gently toasted for a long time, bringing extraordinary smoothness along with notes of toasted bread, vanilla and cinnamon brioche. These layer beautifully with dried fruit flavours of plum and fig jam. 1738 Accord Royal can be savoured neat, on the rocks, in classic cocktails like the Sidecar and Collins, and mixes marvellously with citrus flavours. Pour a glass and enjoy the luxury.
