The RedHeads team specialise in small-batch, one-off wines from various South Australia regions, using top-quality grapes from some of their best grower-mates. There may only be a few rows worth but, bottled solo, the grapes make a terrific wine that stands out in a crowd. But you have to be quick – the bottles disappear quickly. RedHeads’ head honcho and winemaker, Alex Trescowthick, stumbled across this parcel of sensational Riesling in the Barossa. This region is best known for its big, bold Shiraz reds. But it's also an incredible source for vibrantly fruity whites. Just like this aromatic Riesling with notes of citrus, melon and Granny Smith apple. A wonderful aperitif, or beautifully fresh with an Asian noodle stir-fry or seafood.

"For a zesty, lime-fresh white, I can't recommend this enough" Ben Cohn
