A characterful white from Rodolfo Sadler (aka Opi), the winemaker behind our bestselling Opi Malbec. He’s a gentle, affable man, wedded to the high vineyards of Mendoza, a paradise for making top wines. So good, in fact, that in over 30 years of winemaking, he's never considered leaving. When asked to tell us his secret for making such great wines (he has two permanently in our Top 20), he simply shrugged and said, “this is how my family has always made wine.” Typical Opi, humble despite such talent. And why Opi? It's his nickname from childhood and 50 years on and an internationally renowned winemaker, the name’s stuck! This is a vibrant Chenin, Chardonnay and Sauvignon white – brimful of white peach fruit. Great solo, tasty with chicken.
