More information
If you want a wine that's crisp, dry and refreshing, it's hard to beat Muscadet. And having in the past lost out to the New World, its winemakers are working extremely hard to win consumers back. Quality and value have never been better. Robert Parker described this appellation’s wines as “probably the world’s greatest white wine value”, while wine writer Hugh Johnson said “I can think of nothing more refreshing”. The region is the most westerly in the Loire, closest to the Atlantic, so its wines always seem to hint of the sea. You’ll taste that in this delicious Réserve white from fourth-generation winemaker Noël Bougrier, who added a portion of lees-aged wine for extra roundness and flavour. Serve chilled with seafood or lighter dishes.
