Domaine Hudelot-Baillet produces a wide range of beautifully made Burgundies – from Bourgogne through to Grands Crus. It was founded in the 1970s by Paul Hudelot-Baillet. His son, Joël, took over in 1981, while the man in charge today is Dominique Leguen, his son-in-law, from Brittany. They worked together for six years, until Dominique took over in 2004. Since then, the domaine has grown hugely in reputation - from big, powerful wines to Burgundy of more elegance and finesse, typical of its finest appellation, yet the power is still there. Critic Neal Martin wrote of the domaine, "it's just got everything that I like about Burgundy: delicious, nuanced wines." Enjoy here the delicious village Burgundy from this excellent, ripe vintage.
