Domaine Ancely is a second-generation family estate, run today with pride by Bernard and Natalie Ancely. Both are from the Minervois region and learnt early on a great love for the earth and a passion for the vineyards. When the couple took over the family estate in 2001, they decided to stop supplying the local co-operative with grapes and make a great wine for themselves. They refurbished the cellars and made changes in the vineyards to improve quality. The vines are well situated, south facing in the foothills of the Montagne Noire and in the cru area of La Livinière. From various vineyards across their estate, this treasured wine now has 16 years' age. Mature fruits with hints of leather, herbs and spice. Ideal with roast chicken.

"It's rare to find a long-lived wine from the Languedoc. A mellow, mature and complex Minervois" Mark Hoddy
