Cala Rey Tinto is an easy-going Spanish red blend showing an abundance of fruit in your glass. It's creation of a new winery, founded in 2017 in Castilla La Mancha. Tomasso Ciampoli simply fell in love with the Alpera area and a particular 25-hectare plot of ancient vines. He decided then was the moment to revive the family's long-held tradition of making wine. From the age of four, he'd helped his grandfather craft a wine that was proudly drunk by the family at every celebration. All this passion and experience has produced this juicy red, with the help of his winemaker, Diego Lopez. Bursting with juicy, bright red fruit flavours, this smooth red is ideal for sipping on its own or makes a delicious match for grilled sausages or frittata.
