Founded in 1685, Boschendal is a haven of history and great winemaking. Two successive years they've won IWC's Best SA Chardonnay, plus numerous other trophies. Whole bunch pressed, oak fermented, lees aged, it's luscious, complex, yet mineral-fresh.

Awards for the Boschendal wine estate are too numerous to mention. There are scores of medals, trophies and top marks every year. Founded 330 years ago, this historic property lies between Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. Careful restoration over the last decade has made it a wonderful destination, with substantial plantings of many grape varieties. They have recently added 450,000 new fruit trees and invested in chickens, pigs, sheep, goats and fish! Flora and fauna conservation is a priority alongside making brilliant wines. This luscious, lemon-spiked white is all from ocean-cooled Elgin, whole-bunch pressed, part wild-yeast fermented, all in French oak, with lees stirring. All the techniques for a superb, complex, mineral-fresh white.
