“2015 is unquestionably great”. That was Decanter’s assessment – we couldn’t agree more. What’s especially wonderful is the depth of fruit that the wines show. Meaning that, whilst they’ll keep for years, they already drink deliciously. That’s showcased in this trio – offering the best of the vintage from across the whole region. Sensational Cru Bourgeois, Rouquegrave, boasts no fewer than four Gold medals, whilst ripe, plummy Château Gigault Cuvée Viva is a huge favourite of Robert Parker’s. Finally Château d’Arsac offers a core of blackcurrant, cedar and herbs that shows off Margaux at its most alluring.
