Marc and Nina Weinreich have been running the estate since 2009 and their passion for wine is clear for all to see. As Marc said ‘with a name like Weinreich (which means rich in wine), how could we do anything else?’ They make the wines as naturally as possible with the vineyards all farmed organically. A seamless, very rare blend of the famous Chardonnay grape and the less known local German variety, Weissburgunder Rheinhessen has been highly praised by 21st century wine critics, largely for its Riesling. This wine shows it can dazzle with other white grape varieties too What does Marc and Nina’s organic philosophy give you in the glass? A wine of incredible purity and a lovely expression of grape varieties and local soils . “A wedding dance on your tongue” is the colourful description of this wine on Marc and Nina’s website. Expect seductive orchard fruit aromas, rich, ripe flavours of honeydew melon and peach and a crisp, dry finish.
