Warm citrus and piney juniper, coriander and cardamom
Don’t hesitate to try this superb small-scale gin. It is made by ‘Curiosity’, an Arnold Holstein still that is very much the beating heart of the operation (it’s a tradition of all artisan craftsmen in the business to give their still a name). The still was selected because of its large copper surface area, which ensures the gin ends up as smooth as possible after distillation. Warner Edwards buy in their neutral grain spirit then infuse it with their botanicals, part home grown, but also sourced from abroad – Guatemala for cardamom, Holland for angelica root, black pepper from Vietnam, cinnamon from Sri Lanka, Italian juniper and Spanish orange. The blue, square bottle and ribbon make this gin’s appearance as distinctive as its taste.
