The Gold-medal champions of our Vintage Festival
As part of the Vintage Festival’s 40th anniversary celebrations, we introduced the Festival Wine Awards. Our Festival winemakers entered their wines (labels covered) into a two-round judging process overseen by our expert panel of top tasters, headed by four of the best in the trade. The panel selected their Gold-medal winners – wines that stood out for sheer drinkability, character and quality. Highlights include a golden Chenin Blanc from South Africa and an organic Tempranillo-Syrah from old Spain. A smoothly powerful Australian Cabernet, Portugal’s Quinta do Espirito Santo – a fruit-bomb of flavour from a country we’ve long championed. Enjoy these and many more.
