Vincent Gourdon is one of the most experienced and best informed winemakers of southern France. He always knows where the best grapes are growing and who is growing them. Formidable knowledge. Indeed, he's also trained some of our best loved winemakers – those behind our Cabalié wines for starters – and was one of the first winemakers of our legendary Le XV du Président. With his lifetime of local winemaking know-how, no wonder his nickname his Obi Wine Kenobi! Today Vincent is working alongside his most eager apprentice - his son Arthur. So pleased are they with this ripe, velvety Merlot, they have proudly put their names on the label. The wine is a winner with grilled meats, pork casserole or a layered herby tomato aubergine bake.

"Rich, smooth and velvety with lots of ripe fruit – a very moreish Merlot, easy drinking" Beth Willard
