The Farnese winery was named after a noble family who in the 16th century built some of Rome’s finest palaces but fell in love with the Abruzzi and made one of that era’s most renowned wines there. We’ve worked with the modern day cellar for over 20 years and our close relationship gives us exclusive access to many of their highly sought after wines. Their popularity has been helped by a long list of awards and glowing reviews from the likes of Robert Parker, Decanter, Wine Spectator, Gambero Rosso and the International Wine Challenge. This crisp, racy Trebbiano has had a loyal following for 20 years. It makes a fine aperitif and goes exceptionally well with shellfish, pan-seared fillets of fish, roast chicken and creamy pasta favourites.
