A very special treat for lovers of fine Italian wines. Flors di Uis is the flagship white of Vie di Romans, a small estate noted by Wine Spectator for its “gorgeous wines”. This wonderfully aromatic white uses top clones of three native varieties, carefully planted on the sites with the finest terroir. Malvasia Istriana, Friulano and Riesling Renano perform magnificently in the Alpine climate of Isonzo, and this delightful wine has often been highly recommended in the past by Wine Advocate for its “impeccably layered and nuanced” flavours as well as for being “standout and memorable”. 2017 was a small vintage and the winery expects this white, with its excellent minerality, to age well. Gently chill and serve with creamy white meat dishes.
