Vasse Felix is a second generation estate established in 1967 by Dr Tom Cullity. He was a trained cardiologist, who discovered great wine on a stint at a London hospital. He returned home to Western Australia and searched obsessively for a plot that would deliver the same quality there. He found it in Margaret River and his wines have since led the way. It established Margaret River as one of the finest places in the world for wine, particularly Bordeaux-style reds and Chardonnay. The first grapes planted were Cabernet and Malbec from vines still used for this wine. Aged long in barriques, 61% of those new oak, this is a serious red, built to last. Critic Huon Hooke called it, "Clearly, the best Tom Cullity to date." A great wine to cellar.

"A supremely elegant, sublime wine with impressive extension. Clearly, the best Tom Cullity to date" Huon Hooke
