In the hands of multi award winning Cape winemaker Bruce Jack, the Chenin Blanc grape achieves extraordinary vibrancy and crisp apple intensity. But then Bruce is one of a kind – very characterful and hugely energetic, with two degrees in English literature, as well as one in winemaking from Australia’s Roseworthy college. He’s also had experience in top cellars in Bordeaux (where he was struck by lightning!) and Down Under. He named this wine after another free spirit, a Scot, Angus McLean, who deserted the British army in South Africa at the time of the Boer War and lived off the bounty of the sea, plus the odd stolen sheep, earning his nickname ‘the Rustler’. Chill down this fruity white and enjoy solo or with chicken or spicy stir-fry.

"I loved this wine. Probably the best SA Chenin Blanc I’ve tasted in the UK. Great value as well" Online Review
