More information
Many Cape winemakers show a preference for either Pinotage or Shiraz. Bruce Jack loves them both and Grill House is his ode to their mutual compatibility. Bruce is a multi talented winemaker, first taking an English Literature degree and Masters at St Andrews, Scotland, before gaining the Wine Dip at Roseworthy, Australia. Having worked his way around the world, he started his own cellar in a former dynamite factory on the Cape Town waterfront. Bruce has a natural instinct for what makes a great wine but, be warned, this one has a deep undertow of spicy black berry fruits that drags you into the glass and refuses to relinquish its grip until the bottle is empty. So don’t try this alone. Share with friends and a sizzling steak or casserole.
