Taylor's has a reputation for producing the finest and most ageworthy vintage wines. According to James Suckling, it's "the greatest Vintage Port ever from here." After every harvest the finest wines from Taylor's three estates are kept aside to age. Two years later the tasting panel returns to see which are of exceptional quality. If they pass this stage, only then does the panel decide whether the wine is worthy to be a ‘declared’ vintage. The 1994 was more than up there, receiving a perfect 100 point score from the highly acclaimed wine critic, James Suckling. Full bodied, intense, structured with rich black fruit and spicy, figgy, liquorice notes evolving on the long and sumptuous finish. Port perfection that will age further.
