Spier Estate head winemaker Frans Smit is one of South Africa's greatest winemakers. And he established his reputation crafting magnificent Cabernet Sauvignon like this masterpiece. It's been rated 90 points by Decanter magazine, 92 points by critic Andrew Jefford – and will be adored by anyone who loves great Cabernet Sauvignon with power, structure and finesse. It's made purely from hand picked fruit grown in Spier Estate's best vineyards in premium Stellenbosch (a region that is to South Africa what the Médoc is to France or the Barossa to Australia). Beautifully smooth after 26 months in French oak barrels (more than half of which were brand new). With a little bit of age, this regal Cabernet is now drinking absolutely perfectly.

"A truly magnificent Cabernet Sauvignon rippling with flavour, character and class" Kirsten Willis
