With two Golds and 94 Points from Prosecco Masters, Salatin Millesimato is a real step up. It's rare to find a vintage Prosecco, but 2016 was outstanding, and this is from one of the finest cru areas. Bursting with apple fruit with hints of jasmine.

This glorious Prosecco is produced by Azienda Agricola Salatin, a winery based in Cordignano. The family have been grape growers and winemakers in the region since 1528, when the Doges of the Serene Republic of Venice visited to admire the vivid colours of the vineyards in autumn. Today the winery is run by the third generation and concern for environment goes hand in hand with quality of the fizz. Consequently their 40 hectares of vineyards are managed sustainably, with minimal intervention. This is the flagship cuvée. Their Extra Dry is made from grapes sourced entirely from the superior Valdobbiadene vineyards, the high slopes of which produce the finest fruit and the best Prosecco. Enjoy on its own, as a Bellini, or with fresh seafood.

"Wonderfully fragrant with vibrant, fresh fruit flavours. A joy!" Jean-Marc Sauboua
