This irresistible black beauty is finally in a handy wine box. While this red rarely lingers long in the bottle (it’s just too delicious), now there’s no chance of it tiring. Rex Mundi (‘King of the World’) is the evil god the medieval Cathars used to fear in the craggy hills of the Roussillon. But behind this devilishly delicious wine is a very kind soul – Hervé Sabardeil, our ‘King of the Black Reds’. Don’t even try to resist the temptation of this wine, just turn the tap and enjoy its marriage of liquorice-scented Shiraz and luscious Grenache.
