Don't miss this remarkable 100-point Brunello. It's from the maestro Renieri, “an excellent producer of Brunello”, said Wine Advocate. Critic James Suckling was also very impressed, judging by the perfect 100-point score. A wine not to be missed.

From Wine Advocate 93 points and a perfect 100 from James Suckling, this is a remarkable red and certainly lives up to Brunello’s reputation as being ‘the very best of Italy’. Indeed, the 2010 Renieri Riserva scored a perfect 100 points (Suckling) as well. Renieri is owned by the historic, much lauded Castello di Bossi and boasts 128 hectares of land, within which lie 30 hectares of vines, at 350 to 420 metres altitude, some of the highest in the appellation. All were replanted in 1998 to meet the high specifications of the team. Meticulous work in the vineyards and ageing in a mix of small barriques and traditional larger botti barrels result in a wine of amazing power and bold, dense fruit. Delicious now; will cellar magnificently.
