Awarded ‘Champion Pinot Gris’, and with two 5-Star write ups, this is an utterly delicious Reserve Pinot Gris, from a top Kiwi cellar, ‘Winery of the Year’ in 2015. It’s lavish in style, with opulent, ripe, tropical fruit and spice. Scrumptious.

Owned by the Neylon family, Rapaura Springs has an astonishing track record of Trophies and top points. The family started out farming mussels and apples, but found vines much more rewarding. They now have vineyards throughout Marlborough’s best sites and also work with a handful of skilled and loyal growers to access the finest fruit. This fabulous Reserve, awarded Champion Pinot Gris at the New World Wine Awards, is an opulent style of white, off-dry with luscious melon, pineapple and passion fruit notes and a hint of ginger spice. It uses the same grape as Italy’s Pinot Grigio, but the style is much richer, with part fermentation in older oak barrels adding a broader creamy texture. An utter delight solo or with creamy sauced dishes.
