Paris Street Pinot Grigio 2019

Dealurile Munteniei

Pinot Grigio from Italy is much in demand, yet taste the wines from Romania’s cool climate vineyards and you’ll see this country is equally well suited to the grape. Bristling with apple and lemon fruit, this bright white is outstanding value too.

Our Paris Street range surely includes some of the best value wines on the UK market. They come from Romania, a country with centuries of winemaking heritage as well as hectares of quality vineyards and an ideal climate. Until recently Romania lacked the investment to make best use of these assets, but not any more. Paris Street is from Sebes in Transylvania, a region where vivid imagery and gothic tales capture the imagination. The grapes for this aromatic white were hand-picked from high altitude vines and fashioned into an affordable wine of great character courtesy of winemaker Lorena Deaconu. If you enjoy northern Italy’s Pinot Grigio you’ll love Paris Street’s very crisp, elegant version. Serve chilled solo or with a range of seafood.

"Really nice. The sort of wine that doesn’t need to accompany food as it stands out on its own merit" Online Review
