A thrilling, fresh white (yes, at 4 years old) from ‘Flying Scotsman’ winemaker Norrel Robertson. It features the hero grape of Spain’s Rías Baixas region, grown on steep granite soils for added zip. Enjoy an intense, elegant and lime-fresh white.

Go to any harbour café in Galicia in northwest Spain and the locals will be enjoying a clean, refreshing Albariño. Norrel Robertson’s Pedra do Cribo is that, but more finely honed. Lithe, citrus-charged and beautifully aromatic, it’s a classic seafood partner and has fast become the white to be seen drinking in wine bars from Soho to Sydney. If you haven’t tried this exciting white, imagine the freshness of Sancerre with the aromatics of Viognier, plus the minerality of fine Chablis, and you’ll be close. Pedra do Cribo is slowly fermented then aged on its lees (the sediment) for 18 months to develop richness and complexity. Intense stone fruit combine with a tang derived from the maritime climate. Serve as an aperitif or with seafood.
