The Piron team are true Beaujolais artisans. Proper wine people – the kind that spend every hour in the vineyard. They’ve earned their stripes as award-winning producers and only trust the best to protect their precious vines from pests. Enter Léon the cockerel – who spends his days patrolling the vineyards, ensuring the grapes remain untouched by pests. In recognition of his unwavering dedication, the team have crafted a wine that gives Léon the credit he deserves. A fitting tribute, brimming with bright, juicy berry packed Beaujolais flavour. Why no ‘Beaujolais’ on the label? Well, alongside the Gamay grape, there’s a little dark, rich Gamaret, not allowed under Beaujolais rules. But we’re sure you won’t mind once you’ve tasted it.

"A lovely light red fit for the warmer months. A Beaujolais, with a light spice. Delicious" 5-star Online Review
