Maison Joseph Drouhin was established 130 years ago. In charge today are Joseph’s four grandchildren, Fréderic, Véronique, Philippe and Laurent. Their portfolio extends from Chablis in the north to Givry in the Côte Chalonnaise. Organic and biodynamic viticulture minimises impact on the environment, promotes stronger vines and exceptional wine quality. As a house style, the Drouhins put elegance and finesse above richness of flavour. This fine 2018 is a part oak-aged Chardonnay from clay and limestone-rich soils in the Pouilly Vinzelles, one of the best parts of the Mâconnais. Its intense, persistent flavours of peach and white flowers, with nutty complexity, mark it out as fine wine. Enjoy cellar cool with classics like salmon en croûte.

"A wine for mere pleasure! Ample, fresh, intense, with almond, fresh hazelnut and cinnamon" Véronique Drouhin
