Combine the dedication of a small family vine grower with the skills of the winemaker behind the world’s most revered Kiwi Sauvignon and the result, as you’ll taste here, is a truly outstanding white. Better still, it won’t break the bank. The growers are Fleur McCree and Hemi Duns, who initially sold their precious grapes off to some of Marlborough’s top cellars. After a few years, they decided to produce their own estate wine and approached the former winemaker at Cloudy Bay, Eveline Fraser, offering her the job. Knowing the potential of the vineyards, Eveline readily accepted and the wines have enjoyed great success. Vibrantly fruity, Insight makes a delicious glass on its own or with smoked salmon, seared scallops or a spicy stir-fry.
