Grape grower Natale Seghesio is known as 'il Poeta' (the Poet) to his friends. Not only for his compositions telling the rhythm and story of each vintage (featured on the label), but also for the flavourful grapes he produces in the premium Piedmont hills. Thanks to the great conditions of the vintage, Natale’s Cortese grapes thrived, delivering zesty citrus and stony freshness. Using Natale’s exceptional fruit, talented winemaker Paolo Sartirano gently fermented them at his family's cellar. He’s captured everything we love about Gavi here – white blossom aromas, crisp citrus character, and ripe, orchard fruit. Elegant and refreshing, Il Poeta Gavi makes a fine aperitif and a delicious partner for seafood, poultry dishes and more.
