New Zealand Sauvignon that’s so good even the Aussies awarded it a Gold medal last vintage! Since their launch in 1982 Hunter’s have been winning hoards of prizes, and no wonder with wines like this – so dazzling fresh, citrusy, pure and elegant.

Mention Sauvignon Blanc to any wine lover and Marlborough is sure to come up – yet 30 years ago this remote region was known only for barley and sheep. The success story of Marlborough is one of the most remarkable in modern times, and one in which Hunter’s can justly claim to have played a major part. Today the estate is run by Jane Hunter, herself a trained viticulturist, and she has a string of accolades for her excellent work, including a ‘UK Women in Wine Award’, an OBE and Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to viticulture. This is a classic Kiwi Sauvignon, displaying passion fruit, crisp apple and citrus aromas. Delicious on its own and a great match for oysters, simple grilled white fish or spicy Thai dishes.

"A favourite ‘go-to’ white. Really crisp, clean and full of flavours. I can taste the hints of apple" Online Review
