Since 1993, Jacques and Christophe Lanson have run the small family domaine. They are fully signed up to the sustainable practices of Terra Vitis and HVE and by respecting nature, believe they get the very most from their vineyards. For this rare, aged Fleurie, the grapes are sourced from 40 year old vines, planted on Poncié's south facing granitic slopes and Les Combes poor, sandy soils. These ensure small yields (around 38 hl/ha) and excellent concentration in the wine. The brothers do a mixture of whole cluster and destalked berries fermentation to ensure intense fruitiness, as well the depth and structure that enable their fine wines to age. Showing some age, the wine makes perfect drinking now – enjoy with sea bass or roast chicken.

"A ripe wine with black-cherry fruit and some firm tannins. Just now mature, packed with vivid fruit" Wine Enthusiast
