Founded in 1946, Domaine Ferraton has always been a highly regarded estate. Yet since the Chapoutiers have come on board quality has rocketed. The Ferraton family started working with Michel Chapoutier in 1998, the latter buying the estate outright in 2004, but running it very much as an independent concern, with the family still at the helm. Oenologist Damien Brisset and the renowned Stéphane Ogier are also part of the domaine’s ‘super team’, and the result is some really impressive wines. Add in the 5-Star quality of the 2018 vintage and grapes produced to the highest biodynamic standards, and you’ll understand the sumptuous richness you can look forward to. From the lieu dit of Patou, this is a superb red to enjoy over the next 15 years.

"A star in the Ferraton stable, it's full-bodied, rich and velvety, with a terrifically long finish" Joe Czerwinski
