This plump, juicy fruit Merlot is made by Trophy winning winemaker Nicolas Bizzarri. He heads the cellar team at the leading, family owned Luis Felipe Edwards estate in the premium Colchagua Valley. Having made his money in the construction industry, Luis Felipe Edwards Snr (Nicolas’ father in law!) followed his dream and created his own wine estate, starting with a single piece of land and slowly buying up more and more vineyards. Today he owns a small valley with an ideal climate for vine growing and has a no expense spared cellar, housed in old colonial buildings on the estate. His wines are renowned for both quality and value and have won many top international awards. Great as a glass solo, this Merlot is very versatile with food too.
