If you're a fan of the beautifully balanced flavours of top quality sherry, then this will be music to your ears. Pedro Domecq is a legendary name in Spanish wines and, along with González Byass, they've made Domecq Manzanilla at Delgado Zuleta in Sanlúcar de Barrameda (a coastal town in Jerez). It's a classic Manzanilla, a type of Fino sherry produced from Palomino grapes grown in cooler vineyards near the sea. The sherry was then aged in the solera system, with the cooler, more humid conditions creating a thicker layer of flor, to produce a drier sherry with a saline freshness. Exclusively made for the UK market, it boasts a subtle sea breeze zip run through with crisp notes of limey citrus, apple and olive and a creamy almond finish.
