Awarded IWC's 'Lebanese Winery of the Year 2018' Trophy, Domaine des Tourelles has won huge commendation – "one of Lebanon's star wineries" (Telegraph). It was founded in 1868 by French born François Eugene Brun, who showed how the Bekaa Valley could produce world class wine. The Bruns nurtured it until 2003 when the Issas took ownership. Their vineyards lie over 1000m high and are blessed with sunshine for 240 days a year. These conditions produce ripe grapes and great wines. Winemaker today is Faouzi Issa, hailed as the next Serge Hochar (of Musar fame). He trained at Château Margaux, then with the Rhône's René Rostaing and was cited as among the 'Ten Most Influential Wine People' by Executive magazine. An elegant red, with silky fruit.
