Domaine Pugibet Rosé 2020

Hérault

For a rosé bursting with flavour and freshness, choose Domaine Pugibet. Fifth-generation Vincent has done us proud, crafting it all from juicy, strawberry-zhooshed Grenache. Even better, if you're watching the units, it's low in alcohol too.

Domaine Pugibet is a multi-award-winning, 5th-generation winery that’s been making great wines since 1890. Today it’s headed by the pioneering Vincent Pugibet, who gleaned his knowledge from watching his father, François, tend their Languedoc vines. Since the early 1970s, the family has been on a mission to use environmentally friendly methods, both in the vineyard and the cellar. Now Vincent has taken charge, he also wants to show great wine can be made with low alcohol too. Meet, then, his strawberry-filled Grenache rosé, bursting with freshness and flavour, while easy on the alcohol. At just 9% it’s a guilt-free glass that’s perfect for lunchtime sips. A star, chilled, with shellfish, light vegetarian dishes or spiced tofu and noodles.

"Low in alcohol but high in flavour, this rosé is pure refreshment, from the talanted Pugibets" Mark Hoddy
