Stunning new vintage of this New Zealand Sauvignon from an award winning family winery in Marlborough. Recent vintages have garnered enormous praise and enthusiasm – “the most scrumdelicious SB to pass our lips” and so on. And near-perfect conditions in 2016 meant harvest is 34% up on the previous year! Once again, we got such a great deal that we can’t reveal the name of the cellar – it would upset too many of their regular customers. A small price to pay really for such an appetising bobby dazzler of a Marlborough Sauvignon. Exuberant pink grapefruit and grassy nettle character with a bright citrus zip, this has all the usual Marlborough pizzazz and more. It’s very moreish on its own or with spicy seafood – stir-fried or on the barbie.
