A top alternative to Champagne and remarkable value, this stylish Crémant is pure Chenin made by the méthode traditionnelle. The winemaker behind it, Marielle Henron, has a track record of success in France’s most famous sparkling wine region – Champagne. She was winemaker at Bollinger and Pommery before setting up her own estate at Château de l’Aulée in the Loire's Touraine. You can taste that expertise in her sparkling wines, where she employs the exact same techniques as those used at prestigious Champagne houses. Aged on its lees for 24 months, this Crémant has gentle nutty complexity alongside fresh orchard fruit. Just as they do at Bollinger, Marielle adds a dosage of older vintage, oak-matured wine to lend subtle creamy richness.
