In 2012, Peter Kwok bought this 20-hectare Saint-Emilion Grand Cru property, not far from the prestigious Valandraud estate. An addition to his extensive portfolio in Bordeaux’s Right Bank. His commitment to excellence is evident through the château’s transition to fully organic and biodynamic practices – reflecting the team’s meticulous approach at every step. The renowned Michel Rolland serves as a consultant, adding to the estate’s prowess. Using largely densely planted Merlot, supplemented by Cabernet Franc, and aged 40% in new oak for 18 months, this is very fine claret. It's well structured delivering powerful fruit intensity and finesse, with grippy, polished tannins. A fine dinner red. Open early and decant; best after 2027.
