Merlot was the star grape for Bordeaux's Entre Deux Mers in 2019. You'll taste its generous, smooth ripe fruit in this appealing claret. With the addition of a little Cabernet Franc, it has a raspberry edge with structure too. The Mestreguilhem family have been making great Bordeaux for three generations, just across the river from Saint Emilion. Brigitte has now been joined by her son, Jean, who cut his teeth in California and South Africa and brings a more fruit driven style to the winemaking. Both firmly believe hard work in the vineyard is essential for making high quality wine. With two Golds for the 2019, their efforts have certainly paid off. Full of Bordeaux charm, balance, and bright red fruits, it's a top choice with roast meats.

"Supple, smooth, easy drinking - just like an everyday drinking claret should be. Very charming" Jean-Marc Sauboua
