Piper-Heidsieck is one of Champagne's best known houses and its fizz a hit with film stars. Their signature cuvée is seductive and bright with notes of pear, apple and citrus, closed by a delightful nuttiness. Keep it cool in its branded jacket.
Champagne house Heidsieck & Co was founded in 1785 by Florens Louis Heidsieck. In 1828 nephew Christian Heidsieck joined forces with Henri Guillaume Piper, and Piper Heidsieck came into being. Since then Piper Heidsieck has become one of Champagne's most popular houses – especially with the film industry. It was known to be one of Marilyn Monroe’s favourites, was the first Champagne to be featured in a film (the 1933 Laurel and Hardy 'Sons of the Desert') and is even the official fizz of The Oscars! Hardly surprising when you consider the host of awards this house has won. Enjoy its delicious aromas of almonds and hazelnuts, fresh pear and apple flavours, and gentle mousse of tiny bubbles. A truly refined fizz, worthy of the red carpet!
"Toasted brioche, yellow orchard fruit, peach, honeycomb and biscuits. Elegantly fleshy and precise"
